Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how AviNex (“we”, “us”) processes personal data when you visit www.avinexsys.com (the “Website”) or contact us through it.

This policy covers the Website only. The AviNex application (Flight Deck EFB, Cabin EFB and Operations Console) is provided to airline customers under separate agreements and privacy information.

Visiting the Website

The Website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you open a page, Vercel processes the technical data needed to deliver the page and protect the service: your IP address, the date and time of the request, the requested address, the referring page, browser and operating-system information, and the response status.

Requests are received at a Vercel location near you, and pages may be generated on Vercel servers in the United States.

Demo requests

If you use the demo request form, we process the information you enter: full name, business email, company or airline, and your message; and, if you provide them, job title, country, fleet size and the products you are interested in. We also record the site language, the time of your request, a random submission identifier and your confirmation that you have read this Privacy Policy.

We use this information only to respond to your request and arrange a demonstration.

When you submit the form, the Website’s server sends your request as an email through our outgoing mail (SMTP) server to support@avinexsys.com, with your email address as the reply address. The Website itself does not store your request in a database.

To protect the form from abuse, we use a hidden field that people do not fill in, a minimum completion time, and a limit of five requests per IP address within 15 minutes. For this limit your IP address is held only in server memory for up to 15 minutes and is not written to storage. If a request cannot be delivered, we record only its submission identifier and a technical error code.

Required fields are marked. Without them we cannot respond to your request.

Contacting us by email

If you email us, we process your email address, the content of your message and any details you include, in order to respond.

Cookies and browser storage

The Website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. It stores only:

• theme (browser local storage): remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It stays on your device until you clear your browser data.
• NEXT_LOCALE (cookie): remembers the language you selected. It is deleted when you close your browser.

Both are needed to provide functions you request and are not used to track you.

Fonts are served from the Website’s own domain; your browser does not contact third-party font services.

Recipients

We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the Website and handle email:

• Website hosting: Vercel Inc., USA.
• Email: the providers that operate our outgoing mail server and the mailbox for support@avinexsys.com.

We do not sell personal data. We disclose personal data to authorities only where required by law.

The AviNex application

The “Login” link in the Website header opens the AviNex application at panel.avinexsys.com in a new tab. The application is used by authorised users of AviNex customer organisations and is governed by their organisation’s agreement with AviNex. This Privacy Policy does not cover the application.

Your rights

You have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability, as provided by law. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. In Austria this is the Österreichische Datenschutzbehörde, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at.

Automated decisions

We do not use automated decision-making or profiling on the Website.

We will update this policy when our practices change and revise the date shown above.
